Helping you to explore
Australia's beautiful beaches

Freshwater Beach - Sydney/Lower North Shore NSW

Freshwater Beach is located 17 kilometres north-east of the Sydney CBD. There is a large rock pool at the north end and is patrolled by lifeguards with its own surf lifesaving club (SLSC). This beach is very family friendly, with surrounding parks and playground area.

The Main beach strip is quite shallow at low tide and even at high tide for a good distance out and makes it perfect for snorkeling around the rocks and exploring.
